Serving all five New York City boroughs, Rebuilding Together NYC is a nonprofit housing organization that rehabilitates homes and revitalizes communities to make them safe and healthy. With the assistance of volunteers, we provide free critical home repairs for low-income homeowners, primarily those who are elderly, disabled, and veterans.

Upcoming: Canarsie Rebuilding Day

Rebuilding Together NYC, with major support from the American Red Cross, will be repairing nine storm-damaged homes, leading neighborhood revitalization projects including two murals along Avenue L, and installing solar exterior lights to improve community safety in Canarsie, Brooklyn on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Hundreds of volunteers from a broad range of local and national organizations will be working to provide much needed repairs for homeowners and community members that still have not been completed well over a year after the storm ravaged the New York City coastal area.
